Winery J. Hicks
We love what we do and the valley where we live…
Ranging from the beauty of the landscape, our work in our vineyards to the harvest and the pressing at the end of it we are always pleased to look at the sunny, golden color of the wine, taste the fruity aromas and complex mineral notes along with the fine acidity of the noble Riesling berries we have grown… it’s simply a great pleasure for us and Riesling wine is such a joyous experience for all of one’s senses.

What Our Customers Say
- Just tried the Secundo chilled to start the weekend and it was lovely - and I normally like real dry wine.Anna
- This is a most enjoyable wine - like a good friend. (Secundo 2011)Duncan
- White wine had not been my favorite wine until now. I have to admit I changed my mind! The reasons for that are Primum (dry 2011), Secundo (half-sweet 2011) and Tertius (sweet 2011). I am fascinated by the delicious aromas of those white wines from the Winery J. Hicks. Great wine - way to go!Michael
- This is a great wine. It's refreshing, light, crisp and full of flavor. It represents real value for money. A well balanced and easy to drink wine.Stephanie & Clark

We are really pleased to announce that our wine is on the wine list of the Rhein Pavillon Restaurant in Walluf. Our Riesling wine accentuates the fabulous menus chef Roberto Piemonte creates.
After almost 5 years in planning we completed the rebuild of our Rauenthal Wülfen vineyard! It was 3 weeks of really physical work, but now we are now pleased that the rows are completed and the vines are blooming. We decided to plant 70% “Roter Riesling”, a rare grape…
